About the HEIC format
HEIC is an image format built on the HEIF container and HEVC (H.265) compression. iPhones have used it as the default photo format since iOS 11, because it stores photos at roughly half the size of JPG with similar quality.
Windows needs extra codec extensions to open HEIC, and many websites and apps do not accept it. Shrinkary decodes HEIC directly in your browser and shows the primary image of the file, along with EXIF details such as capture time, camera settings, and location.
